Presenting Tisser at North America Fashion Week (NAFW)

With a sense of responsibility, Tisser brand has been launched so that the loom and craft industry remains not only bulwark of our historical legacy but transform into an enterprising fortune of artisans besides current trade and future commerce. Tisser products are natural, craft based,, contemporary, and affordable.
At present Tisser links over 300 products coming from multiple rural clusters encompassing more than a thousand artisans across the country. We are creating a base for skilled, sustainable rural employment, and preserving India’s traditional handicrafts in the process. All products are delightfully designed and carefully crafted.
TISSER PRODUCTS DISPLAY AT TIMES TRAVEL SHOW
The Times Travel Show organised by The Times of India. Tisser Artisans Trust organised Artisans Display which was sponsored by NABARD. The display included various products from all states of the India. There were 5 sections for this which were informing about Rajasthan , Maharahstra, Eco friendly Products, Sarees and Dupattas, Home decore products. All these sections represented with different products of handlooms and handicrafts from various states which includes Punjab, Rajasthan, Maharahstra, Gujrat, Seven Sisters States, Orrisa. NABARD has played an important role in this process by providing financial assistance in the form of the sponsored ship by NABARD for the Tisser Artisans Display. The handicraft product display was centre of attraction of all because of the place as well as the representation and contribution for livelihoods generation of different Artisans and make people to think on the ways of giving Corporate Gifting and Travel Gifting in the form of these products made by the rural women artisans.

PERNIA’S POP-UP SHOW SPRING/SUMMER’ 19
Tisser and Native Haat beginning of collaborations. At this show we (tisser) displayed our exclusive collection of fashion products such as sarees , kurtis , dupattas , palazzos and many more . Pop-up show was taking place at Mahalaxmi Racecourse, Mumbai. It was an amazing experience for all of us. People over there were loving our unique designs, patterns and quality of the products/garments. Special Thanks to, Native Haat, Times Group for providing all the support and also to our Tisser Team for making this event succesfull.

CHETANA CRAFT CENTER, KALA GHODA FORT
Chetana is a craft centre which has various arts and crafts of India, the hand-woven textiles which are probably the oldest and popular. We took opportunity to showcase our products at Chetana craft centre and decide to reach to the craft lovers through showcasing artisans’ skills. All these products were beautified and stylized with traditional Warli painting on it. Craft lovers enjoyed shopping, buy these products with appreciation of art and artists too.

TIMES SANSKRUTI FESTIVAL -THANE
Times Sanskruti festival – Thane is one of the very popular events among art lovers in Maharashtra. The festival is a confluence of Art and Culture and being organized during 11th to 14th January, 2019 near beautiful ‘Upvan Lake’ area. Our project team took opportunity to participate in a fest and decide to reach to the craft lovers through showcasing artisans’ skills. Various products made by hands of rural artisans were exhibited in stall. All these products were beautified and stylized with traditional Warli painting on it. Craft lovers enjoyed shopping, buy these products with appreciation of art and artists too. Some of the women artisans from Bhiwandi cluster expressed their willingness to present on exhibition stall for four days. Women artisans were happy seeing that products developed by their hands are liked, appreciated and purchased by visitors with satisfactory smiles on their faces.
